Jasmine Teo

Yoga Teacher

Jasmine Teo was introduced to Yoga in 2008 when she was working in Vietnam. After leaving her corporate job, she went to India for her 200 hours teachers training program at India, Rishikesh (Rishikesh Yog Peeth). She used to have very bad sinus, and it is also under control.   To deepen her practice, upon returning from India, she took up another 500 hours Advance Teacher Training Program in Singapore. Currently she is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT200, RYT500 registered teacher. She was introduced to Iyengar Yoga 7 years ago and has completed her 4 years Iyengar Yoga Teachers Training Program. As she continued her practice, the pain in her lower back, knees and ankles were much improved. She is also a certified prenatal yoga teacher.

Currently she is the lead trainer for the Yoga Teachers Training Program to train and guide yoga practitioners to become yoga teachers.  Jasmine also has a Diploma in Bowen Therapy and an Advance Certificate in Bone Setting – this is especially useful for students with scoliosis and misalignment in the spine or hips.

She belief Yoga has something for everyone both on the mat and off the mat. Having benefited from Yoga, she would like to share with everyone how Yoga is happening in every single moment of our life.  Being a yoga teacher is her passion rather than a job.

Jasmine also conduct talks for companies, the topics that she covers includes – Alignment and Posture – Standing, Walking and Sitting, Healthy Back, Neck and Shoulders, Ergonomics and Mindfulness.
