Agnes was introduced to yoga in 2009 after trying out different forms of exercise to lose weight. After regular practice, she soon realised the positive changes both physically and mentally. Other than strength and better body awareness in asanas, yoga also changed her perspective and approach in life, especially towards interpersonal relations and in handling “sticky” situations. To Agnes, yoga is a relationship that is built between the body, mind and breath. Whether on or off the mat, it is about creating space free from obstacles in one’s own body to live. Having completed her 200Hrs Yoga Teacher Training, she hopes to help and motivate others find this release so that they too can be comfortable and competently move their bodies through life.
